SPI INTERNATIONAL is an international film distribution company based in New York with local offices in Poland, Czech Rep., Slovakia and Hungary. We work with the movie from it’s theatrical release through video and DVD release to all forms of TV distribution. In the territories where we have our local offices we participate in production of film projects and TV programs.

SPI has library with over 30.000 hours of film and TV programs. SPI takes part in every famous TV and film markets and festivals. We have a strong relationship with companies such as Miramax, Intermedia, Buena Vista, Studio Canal Plus, Capitol Films, Film Four, Showcase, Lakeshore, Kushner Locke, Amberlon, IEG, Interlight, Lions Gate, J&M, Morgan Creek and Summit. Our offer catalogue is not just about american production. We care to keep balance of good american and top-ranking european film production.

SPI has been involved in Czech, Hungarian and Slovak markets for over 10 years. We have created long-term relationship with prestige commercial and public TV stations – RTL CLUB, Czech TV, Slovak TV, MTV, TV Nova and TV Markiza; and also companies such as Metropolis Cinemas, UCI Palace, Village Roads, Multikino 2000, Istropolis Cinemas, etc.

SPI’s catalogue of art films is one of the strongest in the territory. We take part in every important film festival in the territory. We succesfully cooperate with Karlovy Vary International Film Festival (KVIFF) in Czech Rep. for last couple of years. SPI titles appear in all sections of KVIFF including in competition. We also get involved with the promotion and publicity during the festival by coordinating the participation of the talents and the directors of the films. Furthermore, SPI showcases their films in Bratislava International Film Festival, Artfilm Festival in Trenčianske Teplice, and many other local film festivals and special performances.
